Yesterday
At this point of time, Jaz should say it was yesterday.
But she prefers to say it TODAY, cuz' she haven't sleep yet :P
Jaz's mom decided to celebrate birthday in advance cuz' there's wedding dinner to attend on Sunday. So Jaz + family + relatives had dinner at Crystal Jade at Junction 8.
She forced her dad to buy a bouquet of roses before entering the restaurant.
(Jaz's Mom was already waiting inside)
Asked how much was the half dozen red furry roses - $68.
He asked whether there was other alternatives.
The guy pointed to another bouquet with more little accompanying flowers & said $50.
He asked Jaz for opinion.
Jaz simply said the better one cost more.
He chose the red furry roses.

Heng he chose that! Else Jaz would call him a miser!
Based on the fact he juz struck a windfall + little winnings from stock.
AND that he never gave mom flowers since duno when!!!
How unromantic!
Jaz thinks she saw little joy of tears brimming in her mom's eyes when she received the roses. Hehehe.
And she thought she overheard mom telling 表姐 that he never gave her flowers!
GOSH.
Anyway, Jaz thought the $68 was well spent.
Though expensive, mom was happy :)
Dinner was not bad.
Peking duck, tasty fried wantons(ordered twice!), yummy plain porridge, pepper salted fried toufu, etc, etc.
Ended with nice mango pudding for me, durian pudding for BB.
The durian pudding was not bad!!! Unless you dun like durian.
After dinner, Jaz, mom & 表姐 had some happy shopping at The Body Shop.
Jaz's thankful she applied the Body Shop member card!
She already earned 6 chops! That's some big amount of dollars spent there within 1 week??!!!
表姐 & mom got what they wan at 10% discount.
Jaz got the passion fruit body butter at discounted price of $16.90(usual $28.90)
She wouldn't have get it at the usual price for sure!
Now she has got the whole series of passion fruit stuffs:
Passion fruit bath & shower gel, Passion fruit body scrub, Passion fruit body butter
Weee~!
Next, she'll be aiming for the new scent - Neroli Jasmin stuffs!

To end the day in sweetness,
the cake mom ordered was heart shaped, top-full of strawberries,
in white cream & layered vanilla sponge!!!
A little sinful, nonetheless delicious.
Jaz's skeptical mom asked her before tuning to bed:
"Papa asked you all to help him buy the roses or he bought himself?"
(something close to this, Jaz can't recall)
"We asked him buy wan lah!"
Sorry mom & dad.
The truth has to be told :P
Before Jaz ends this post, some drama occurred!
For 10 minutes, she thought her Sony H1 was spoilt!!!
The camera couldn't start up! It switched off the moment it started!
The zooming len couldn't retract!

Jaz kept her cool.
Had a short chat with her BB over the phone.
Tried the camera again.
Took out the existing batteries.
Tried old batteries.
And good old H1 is back!
PHEW!
SO...
It's the sony rechargeable batteries problem.
But Jaz's not too sure about that. She's recharging them now.
If tomorrow they doesn't work, that means...
Time to get NEW rechargeable batts!

She's been spending quite a lot of dollars this month.
Not to mention her upcoming taiwan trip, which will consist of her sister's + her fren's birthday presents + some local goodies for family, relatives & frens.
